On Saturday afternoon, Wolverhampton Wanderers welcomed old foes Cardiff City to the Molineux for our latest Premier League action.
First half goals from Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez saw us return to winning ways as we secured a 2-0 victory inside of the opening 20 minutes, and although a number of players showed significant improvement from more recent matches – one man stood out for entirely different reasons.

Adama Traore has shown the good and bad of his game following his £18million arrival from Middlesbrough over the summer, and head coach Nuno Espirito Santo used him in a different way last weekend.
He took to the starting lineup in the unfamiliar right wing back role with a more defensive requirement, but he appeared to largely impress. His attacking play remained decent in many ways, but he definitely needs to work on his finishing – but that was known.
Taking to social media to discuss his performance, fans offered.
He plays who he wants.

Grew into an unfamiliar role with great support and encouragement from his teammates – notably @ryanbennett_22 Coads and @DiogoJota18. With confidence he is scary!

Think he's trying too hard tbh .. should just play his natural game. But he's improving game by game
